GREAT title Rory! And amazing image! It reminds me of when all the California Poppys sprinkle the Sonoran Desert foothills with gold!
Rory Ingle: it's what I love about the arid regions of the world they put up such a show even if it's just for a very short time.
I like the deepening of the colours here. So lovely.
Rory Ingle: Thanks, one is so taken back at such a scene, it's great to be alive.
Fantastic picture Rory, the color is wonderful.
Rory Ingle: Thanks Frances, and thanks for following.
My goodness! This really is stunning. We have dandelions that cover the landscape like this.
Rory Ingle: Thanks Mary, that would make interesting photography too

I love the title as much as the image. It is stunning to see so many flowers together. I like the rock in the foreground too! smile
Rory Ingle: he he yeah the rock in the foreground is actually an ant mound you can see it has rained recently which is good for the flowers smile.

So beautiful. Its amazing what a bit or rain can do.
Rory Ingle: Oh yes, rain is very important. Interestingly the blooms don't open unless the temperature rises above 16 degrees C, if a cold wind is blowing forget it.

Oh man! Last year we went - worst flower year in any local's memory. This year old friend from Springbok phoned - come, come. Can't make it. I cry, when I see this.
Rory Ingle: Oh well maybe next year, my problem was that we were on a tight schedule, never do that again.
